Euronews reported that Danish jewellery company Pandora has opened a new crafting facility in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The firm invested 150 million dollars, or 132 million euros, in the site, which it describes as the largest fine jewellery factory in the world. [1]

According to Euronews, the factory is expected to employ 7,000 people once it is fully operational. The facility will produce up to 60 million pieces of jewellery each year, which increases the manufacturing capacity of the company by 50 percent. [1]

Euronews reported that the new site is the fourth manufacturing location for Pandora. The company stated that the factory will operate entirely on renewable electricity, following its move in 2024 to use 100 percent recycled gold and silver across its production. [1]
