Motorcyclist dies following collision with car in County Meath

A motorcyclist in his 50s died following a collision with a car in County Meath on Saturday afternoon. The Journal and RTE both reported that the fatal crash occurred at around 12.15pm on the R156 at Harlockstown, located between Dunboyne and Summerhill. [1][2]

According to RTE, the male motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, and emergency services later removed his body to Navan Mortuary. The Journal reported that the driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, was uninjured in the incident. [1][2]

An incident room has been established at Ashbourne Garda Station to investigate the crash, according to both The Journal and RTE. Forensic investigators preserved and examined the scene on the R156 following the collision. [1][2]
