England's Matthew Jordan lies two shots behind leader Casey Jarvis of South Africa heading into the final round of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, BBC Sport, Yahoo Sports, and The Independent reported. Jordan shot the joint-best round of the day to reach 16 under par, while Jarvis leads at 18 under par. The tournament takes place across three links courses centered on St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Belgium's Thomas Detry is in third place at 15 under par, BBC Sport reported. Poland's Adrian Meronk, Denmark's N Norgaard, and Denmark's J Skov Olesen are tied at 14 under par. Among other competitors, England's M Armitage sits at 13 under par, with M Fitzpatrick at 12 under par, and Scotland's Robert MacIntyre and Calum Hill at 11 under par. [1]

American golfer Brooks Koepka sits at 10 under par alongside Scottish players Connor Syme and M Stewart, as well as English players Sam Bairstow, Richard Mansell, and Daniel Brown, according to BBC Sport. Ireland's Padraig Harrington is at nine under par with Scottish golfers David Law and Scott Jamieson, while Tommy Fleetwood and Alex Fitzpatrick are at eight under par. Wirral-born Jordan turned professional in September 2018. [1]

Protesters targeted Celtic shareholder Dermot Desmond during the tournament in St Andrews by throwing tennis balls towards him, Yahoo Sports reported. Desmond was playing alongside Koepka when the protest took place. [4][5]
