A man has been charged with the murder of a general practitioner who was found dead at her home in Norfolk on Sunday, the BBC reported. Norfolk Police arrested and charged 45-year-old Mark Cain of Fern Hill, Dersingham, following the discovery of the body of 45-year-old Dr Hannah Terry, who was also known as Hannah Cain. [1][2]

The victim was found at a property in Fern Hill, Dersingham, according to the BBC. Police stated that Mark Cain has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday. [1][2]

Dr Terry was a member of the practice team at Grimston Medical Centre, the BBC reported. A notice published on the website of the medical centre stated that the facility was temporarily closed due to extremely difficult circumstances affecting its practice team, and members of the public have left tributes outside the building. [1]
