Kristin Scott Thomas backs Slow Horses co-star Jack Lowden for James Bond

Kristin Scott Thomas has shared her thoughts on her Slow Horses co-star Jack Lowden being tipped to play the next James Bond. Euronews, the Daily Mail, and The Telegraph all reported that the actress has publicly backed the Scottish actor for the iconic role. According to the Daily Mail, Scott Thomas told The Times that she has no insider information but thinks Lowden would be perfect for the part. [1][2][3]

Euronews reported that Scott Thomas described Lowden by saying he has that twinkle, is cheeky, and is a very, very good actor. The Daily Mail added that Lowden, 36, is considered a clear favourite to succeed Daniel Craig after final auditions took place last month. Lowden has previously addressed the ongoing casting rumours. The Daily Mail reported that the actor described being considered alongside Turner and an unnamed third star as very flattering, but stated that he believes his future lies behind the camera in directing.
