A lottery player in County Kerry won more than 77,000 euros in the National Lottery draw on October 24. Radio Kerry and Tralee Today both reported the victory, with Tralee Today specifying the exact payout as 77,437 euros. The winning Quick Pick ticket was bought on the day of the draw at the Centra store located on Muckross Road in Killarney. [1][2]
The Kerry ticket holder matched five numbers along with the bonus number to secure the prize, according to Radio Kerry. A second player in County Cork also matched five numbers and the bonus number in the same drawing, earning an identical sum of over 77,000 euros. [1]
Radio Kerry reported that no player won the main jackpot of 3.51 million euros in the drawing. The winning numbers selected were 2, 15, 24, 25, 30, and 43, with 16 drawn as the bonus number. [1]
As FTMQ News reported earlier, another significant win occurred recently in County Cork when a player won a 5.6 million euro Lotto jackpot on October 6. That winning ticket was purchased at an Eason store inside the Mahon Point Shopping Centre. [4]
Radio Kerry noted that anyone who bought a ticket at the Centra store on Muckross Road should check their numbers. The National Lottery advises the winner to sign the back of the ticket and get in touch with lottery officials to claim the prize. [1]
