Ken Paxton attended Dubai party with U S fugitives report says

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton attended a 2025 New Year party in Dubai with two fugitives who did not return to the United States, according to reporting by the Wall Street Journal, Mediaite, and the Washington Examiner. The Washington Examiner reported that the two individuals present were Anosh Ahmed and Sameer Suhail. Both men are United States citizens who were indicted on federal charges connected to healthcare fraud in 2024. [1]

Paxton has served as the 51st attorney general of Texas since 2015. He previously served in the Texas House of Representatives from 2003 to 2013 and in the Texas Senate from 2013 to 2015. [5][6]
