A zoo near Islamabad has launched a new attraction called Coffee with Alpaca, Euronews reported on 30 October 2026. Visitors at the facility can drink beverages and eat snacks while watching, feeding, and petting the animals. [1]

The attraction features ten imported alpacas, which the zoo said is a first for Pakistan. On 25 October, adults and children were observed stroking and feeding white, brown, and dark-coated alpacas as the animals roamed, rested, and approached people. [1]

The setup allows families to sit at café tables while the alpacas wander nearby and occasionally stretch their necks over the surrounding fence, Euronews reported. Several young alpacas are also part of the group drawing attention from guests. [1]

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan, a South Asian country with a population of over 241.5 million people. [2]
