Four Texas State fraternity pledges arrested on hazing charges

Four Texas State University fraternity pledges were arrested on hazing charges on Tuesday in San Marcos, Texas. San Marcos police responded to several calls reporting that multiple pledges forced an active fraternity member into a truck as he shouted for them to let him go. The New York Post, KEYE, and MySA reported the arrests. [1][3][6]

The New York Post identified the four pledges as Noah Lara, age 20, Wyatt Carr, age 18, William Oldner, age 19, and Tyler Fogg, age 18. According to the New York Post, police said the Phi Delta Theta pledges turned the tables on the active member as part of a tradition. [1]

Texas is the second largest United States state by both area and population, located in the south central region of the country. [7]

The four men now face potential jail time if convicted of the charges, according to the New York Post. [1]
