FBI asked to search storage units linked to Thomas Markle

The FBI has been asked to search storage units in Los Angeles for child abuse material linked to Thomas Markle, according to the Daily Mail, The Telegraph, and The Sun. The Daily Mail and The Sun reported that Thomas Markle Junior, aged 60, provided federal agents with the location of two storage spaces in California. The units were reportedly rented by his father to store memorabilia and belongings of his half-sister, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. [1][2][8]

International investigations into the matter are also expanding in the Philippines. The South China Morning Post reported on Thursday that Philippine Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla stated authorities are examining whether Thomas Markle Junior was involved in alleged child sexual abuse offences. Remulla said witnesses alleged that underage girls were brought to the younger Markle's home. [3]

The South China Morning Post also reported on Wednesday that Philippine police found child sexual abuse material on a mobile phone and three memory cards handed over by Thomas Markle Junior. The discovery followed an earlier police investigation into a laptop found alongside illicit images at a former residence of Thomas Markle in the Philippines. [4]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, journalists previously notified the FBI after discovering material depicting child sexual abuse inside a Mexican storage unit rented by Thomas Markle in Rosarito Beach. Thomas Markle Senior has previously denied all accusations of possessing illicit material, calling them sick lies. [1][13][14]
