According to BBC News, images of child sexual abuse allegedly belonging to 82-year-old Thomas Markle were reportedly found in his former residence in the Philippines. The Duchess of Sussex released a statement saying she was informed by police in 2018 about disturbing allegations involving her father. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Thomas Markle denied the accusations and described the claims as sick lies, while Meghan stated the situation is why she keeps her children away from him. [1][7][8]

BBC News reported that the initial claims regarding Markle were first published by The Sun newspaper. The Daily Telegraph previously noted that the Duchess was advised in 2018 not to speak publicly about the matter. [1][7]
