Donald Trump criticizes Norway after Navi Pillay wins Nobel Peace Prize

United States President Donald Trump criticized Norway after South African jurist Navanethem Navi Pillay won the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize. Sky News reported that Pillay, a former United Nations high commissioner for human rights, received the award on October 9. At a rally in Syracuse, New York, Trump called the winner a mystery person and a liberal person who works at the United Nations, according to the New York Post.
