The Indianapolis Colts and the Washington Commanders meet in London for an NFL Week 4 matchup, CBS Sports and ESPN reported. Both teams head into the contest after securing their first victories of the season, according to CBS Sports. [2][3][4]

Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels has been ruled out due to an elbow injury, CBS Sports reported. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Marcus Mariota was named the starting quarterback in place of Daniels. CBS Sports noted that Mariota and Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor lead their respective teams in the London game. [2][3][10]

CBS Sports reported that both teams feature defenses that rank among the worst in the league, creating the potential for a high-scoring battle. The 2026 season is the 95th in the National Football League for the Washington Commanders, as well as their third under general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn. [2][7]

The Colts play in the American Football Conference South division and have held home games at Lucas Oil Stadium since the 2008 season. Washington seeks to improve upon a five-and-twelve record from last season and return to the postseason following a one-year absence. [7][8]
