CNN has threatened to take the Trump administration back to court after being repeatedly denied access to Air Force One. Reports from the New York Post, The Washington Post, CNN, Deadline, Spectrum News 13, and Clarin.com confirm that the network issued the warning to restore its access to the presidential travel pool. The New York Post reported that CNN journalists have been denied access to Air Force One four times. The network remains in a tense legal standoff with the White House after President Donald Trump issued a sudden ban on its reporters from White House grounds a month ago, alongside journalists from MS NOW and Politico, calling their content fake news. [1]

The continued restriction comes despite a federal judge granting the news outlets a preliminary injunction last week, according to the New York Post. Deadline reported that an attorney for CNN warned the Department of Justice that the network will return to court over the ongoing ban on television pool access. [1][8]

Air Force One aircraft serve as a mobile command center, enabling the president to conduct governance during transit. The aircraft feature advanced secure communications systems, electronic countermeasures, and onboard facilities designed to accommodate up to 70 passengers and crew. [11]
