Milwaukee Brewers baseball fans who bought a special 1,000 dollar pass called the Timeless Ticket in 2015 are now redeeming it for the upcoming World Series. Fox News reported that resale prices for World Series tickets have topped 2,681 dollars as Milwaukee prepares for the championship series. [1][9][10][11][12]

The Brewers created the promotion following a poor second half of the 2014 season and an abysmal 68-84 record in 2015, Fox News reported. The ticket allowed buyers to choose any future home game, including Opening Day, playoff games, or even Game 7 of the World Series. [1]

The World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball played between the champions of the American League and the National League in a best-of-seven playoff. As FTMQ News reported earlier, Milwaukee posted a league-best 103-59 record during the regular season before advancing through the National League Championship Series. [11][13][17]

In the American League, the Tampa Bay Rays hold a 3-2 lead over the Cleveland Guardians after a 3-1 victory in Game 5, according to the Guardian and the New York Post. Pitcher Drew Rasmussen allowed just one run over seven innings to move Tampa Bay within one victory of reaching the World Series. [3][4][5][6][8]
