The Anti-Defamation League says Wikipedia has failed to correct biased content on its platform, Fox News reported. Anti-Defamation League Chief Executive Jonathan Greenblatt stated that 91 percent of the biased edits made by a banned editor on pages regarding Israel, Hamas, and the October 7 attacks remain live and unchecked. [1]

The announcement comes more than a year after the Anti-Defamation League uncovered at least 30 Wikipedia editors who appeared to coordinate to add anti-Israel bias, misleading information, and antisemitic narratives, according to Fox News. Greenblatt told the outlet that the group expected the edits to be reversed and new policies implemented, but almost nothing has changed. [1]

Wikipedia is one of the largest reference works in the world and celebrated its 25th anniversary on January 15, 2026. The platform hosts over 68.5 million articles across 348 active language editions, including more than 7.25 million in English. While credited with expanding open access to knowledge, the site faces criticism over its reliability, systemic biases, and susceptibility to manipulation. [4]
