Wyoming police search for missing mother Kandice Gunter

The Casper Police Department is searching for 30-year-old Kandice Gunter after she went missing in Wyoming, the New York Post reported. She was last seen on Thursday morning in Natrona County and was reported missing to local police later that evening. [1]

According to the New York Post, Gunter was driving a gray 2016 GMC Canyon pickup truck. Her sister, Kayla Gunter, filed a missing-person report after Kandice failed to collect her two children, aged nine and six, from the Boys & Girls Club after school on Wednesday. [1]

Gunter had recently moved from Nevada to Casper, Wyoming, about a month ago to be closer to her children, the New York Post reported. Her sister described her absence as out of character. [1]

Wyoming is a state defined by vast prairies and the Rocky Mountains, featuring 23 counties and a low population density that averages fewer than six people per square mile. [3]
