RTE, Extratime, The 42, and BreakingNews.ie all reported that the Cork football club's suspension was reduced on final appeal. The disciplinary process against the club has now concluded. The Irish Examiner reported that the club could not commit to a fixture against Bohemians on July 19 due to a potential fixture clash. Ringmahon Rangers previously had an initial appeal against the penalty rejected. [1]
While the FAI Cup ban was shortened, a separate three-year FAI Intermediate Cup ban was upheld against the team, the Irish Examiner reported. The club must also pay a fine of 5,000 euros, which was maintained following the arbitration process. [1]
