The gelding Rememberwhat won the staying maiden hurdle race over three miles at Sligo on Friday, Radio Kerry reported. Dingle conditional jockey Ben Kennedy rode the horse to victory by the narrowest margin of a nose. [1]

According to Radio Kerry, the horse won at odds of 9-2 and is trained by Paul Fahey, who is based in Nurney. The victory marked the first win for the gelding, which had to survive a subsequent stewards inquiry following the photo finish. [1]

Radio Kerry also reported that jockey Ben Kennedy won the two-mile mares handicap hurdle at Clonmel while riding Volez Vous. Meanwhile, trainer Gordon Elliott recorded a double at Cheltenham. [1]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Irish racing action earlier this month included a victory by the Donnacha O'Brien trained horse Shaihaan, who won the feature race at Killarney by three-quarters of a length as the 3-1 favourite. [2]
