Police are treating the death of an 11-year-old girl in Worcestershire as unexplained after her body was discovered in a village park. The Daily Mail reported that Miya Deamer-Jones was found dead near Elmley Castle Cricket Club after she went missing at around 11:20 pm on Sunday. [1]
According to the Daily Mail, officers have ruled out any third-party involvement in the death of the child. Friends of the girl's mother, Katie Jones, have set up a fundraiser to support the family following the discovery. [1]
A mother is defined as the female parent of a child, whether through giving birth, raising offspring, or providing an ovum for surrogacy. As FTMQ News reported earlier, police in other recent cases have investigated separate domestic tragedies, including a mother found shot dead in Massachusetts and a mother and child found in a submerged vehicle in Queensland.
