The injury occurred on a 53-yard pass reception from quarterback Jordan Love in the second quarter, CBS Sports and the New York Post reported. The New York Post detailed that Watson made the catch but was hit hard at the Carolina 26-yard line by Panthers defensive backs Zakee Wheatley and Will Lee III, leaving Watson on the ground with a chest injury. Before leaving the game, Watson recorded six receptions for 100 yards during the first half, Fox News and CBS Sports reported. According to CBS Sports, Watson spent roughly three minutes preparing in the locker room after returning to the stadium before rejoining his teammates on the field. [1][3]

Watson plays professionally for the Green Bay Packers after being chosen in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft from North Dakota State University. The team plays at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which originally opened in 1957. [10][11]
