Oregon school employee found dead after three people shot in Happy Valley

Oregon school district employee Edward Villa was found dead at a motel hours after a warrant was issued for a triple murder in Happy Valley, the New York Post reported. The 45-year-old was wanted in connection with the shooting deaths of three people, whose bodies were discovered inside a suburban home around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. [1]

The discovery occurred after police officers responded to a welfare check for a missing person, according to reports from The Oregonian cited by the New York Post. The three victims inside the Happy Valley house, located about 10 miles southeast of downtown Portland, were determined to have died as a result of homicidal violence. [1]

Happy Valley is situated in the state of Oregon, where major economic hubs and high-technology sectors are concentrated around the nearby Portland area. Law enforcement authorities issued an arrest warrant for Villa before locating his body at a motel the following day. [1][4]
