The victim was identified by police as 46-year-old Koran Irvine, who worked for Con Edison and lived in Valley Cottage in Rockland County, the New York Post reported. Law enforcement sources said that Irvine suffered a gunshot wound to his right shoulder at around 7:15 p.m. on the upper level of the crossing heading toward New Jersey. [1][2]
Law enforcement sources stated that video reviewed by investigators showed Irvine swerve slightly toward the suspect's vehicle before the incident, according to the New York Post.
