Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico has stated that he would love to work with President Donald Trump to fulfill the promise of the Make America Great Again movement, the Washington Examiner reported. Talarico made the proposal during an interview on The Diary of a CEO podcast hosted by Steven Bartlett. [1]
The Democratic nominee offered to work alongside Trump despite receiving frequent personal criticism from the president. According to the Washington Examiner, Trump previously attacked the candidate by nicknaming him Talafreako. [1]
The offer comes as Trump faces a low approval rating of 32 percent just one day before the midterm elections, France 24 reported. Trump was inaugurated as the 47th president on January 20, 2025, after winning the 2024 election against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, according to Wikipedia. [1][2][6]
As FTMQ News reported earlier, other politicians have also addressed the impact of the MAGA movement ahead of the midterms. Retiring Representative Don Bacon stated that potential Republican losses in the midterms would trigger a debate over the movement, while Michigan Senate candidate Mike Rogers previously avoided identifying himself as a MAGA Republican.
