Ireland centre Garry Ringrose is set to miss the national team's upcoming November matches because of a hamstring injury, according to reports by the Irish Examiner, BBC Sport, and the Irish Times. The Irish Rugby Football Union issued a squad update on Tuesday morning stating that it is unlikely the player will participate in the fixtures against Argentina, Fiji, and South Africa. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

BBC Sport and the Irish Times both report that Ringrose will remain with his club team Leinster to continue his rehabilitation. BBC Sport reported that Ringrose has scored 15 tries in 76 international caps for Ireland and missed the recent domestic victory against rivals Munster at the Aviva Stadium. [1][2][3]

According to the Irish Examiner and the Irish Times, Ireland fly-half Sam Prendergast is also a doubt for the upcoming match against Argentina. The Irish Times noted that Prendergast is recovering from a wrist issue and will continue his rehabilitation in the Irish training camp this week. [1][2][3]

The Irish Examiner and the Irish Times reported that Jimmy O'Brien sustained a concussion against Munster. He is following a graduated return to play protocol with the aim of returning to full training later in the week. The Irish Examiner added that head coach Andy Farrell has called up no new players to the squad. [1][3]

Ringrose plays as a centre for Leinster and the Ireland national team. He made his debut for Ireland in November 2016 and won Six Nations Grand Slams with the team in 2018 and 2023. [8][11]
