Garda! arrest woman after 644000 euro drug seizure in Limerick

Garda! have arrested a woman in her 40s after seizing cocaine and heroin worth 644,000 euros in Limerick, independent.ie and the Irish Times both reported. The Sunday World also reported the arrest and seizure. [1][2][3]

According to the Irish Times, officers from the Limerick Divisional Drug Unit carried out a search under warrant at a residence on Old Singland Road on Wednesday. The raid was part of an ongoing operation targeting the distribution of controlled drugs across the Mid-West region. [2]

During the search, officers recovered cocaine with an estimated street value of 490,000 euros and heroin valued at 154,000 euros, the Irish Times reported. The arrested woman is being held in Garda custody in the Limerick area under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996. [2]
