Former writer sues FX over workplace safety and unpaid overtime claims

A former television writer has filed a lawsuit against FX, accusing the network of workplace safety issues and labor violations. The New York Post reported that Diara Bradley filed the lawsuit on Sept. 30 in Santa Monica Superior Court. The legal complaint details an incident where Bradley claims an overworked colleague brought a knife to work. [1]

The lawsuit alleges that FX failed to accommodate disability requests made by Bradley. According to the New York Post, the complaint also states that the network failed to provide her with proper meal breaks. Bradley claims that she was not paid for work performed during work weeks that spanned 50 to 60 hours. [1]

Bradley wrote social media content for several television series, including The Bear, Snowfall, It is Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and American Horror Story, according to her LinkedIn profile referenced by the New York Post.
