The first round of November Social Security retirement benefits will be distributed on Tuesday, Nov. 10, the Washington Examiner reported. This payment round applies to retirees who were born on or before the 10th day of a month. Maximum monthly retirement payments for this period are capped at $5,181. [1]

A second round of payments will follow on Nov. 18 for retirees born between the 11th and 20th of a month, according to the Washington Examiner. The Journal News and The Palm Beach Post also noted that Social Security and Supplemental Security Income distribution dates shift during November. [1][4][5]

The Social Security Administration sent out an unusual official email touting Donald Trump just days before the upcoming elections, The Washington Post reported. In the United States, Social Security is the federal Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance program created under the Social Security Act of 1935. [2][6]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Social Security serves approximately 69 million disabled and retired workers. The program has paid out more money than it has collected annually since 2010, leading to long-term trust fund shortfalls. For upcoming December benefits, Supplemental Security Income payments worth up to $994 are scheduled for distribution in 31 days on Tuesday, Dec. 1, according to the Washington Examiner. [1][3][8]
