President Donald Trump delivered his final major public speech in Washington on Monday ahead of the midterm elections. France 24 and BBC News both reported that Trump addressed voters from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, where he spent over 20 minutes describing the detailed technical aspects of the landmark's recent renovation, including its pipes, joints, and caulking. [1][4]

During his address, Trump joked about renaming the landmark to the Trump Reflecting Pool, according to reports from the Washington Examiner. CNBC reported that Trump also acknowledged the political strength of his opponents, stating that his party gave the election effort a very strong shot. [5][6][7]

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is located on the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Dedicated in 1922, the structure measures 2,028 by 167 feet and holds approximately four million gallons of water. [12]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, Trump used his final campaign speech at the site to label Democratic candidates extreme and dangerous. His comments come as voters go to the polls on November 3, 2026, to decide all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate. [13][15]
