Dispatch audio details mass casualty response after Kansas soccer field crash

Newly released emergency dispatch audio has revealed the moment first responders rushed to a Kansas soccer field where a driver allegedly struck spectators on Saturday. The New York Post reported that dispatchers classified the event as a mass casualty incident at the Stryker Sports Complex in Wichita. [1]

The crash killed six year old Cole Adrian and 35 year old Nicholas Schafer, both from McPherson. The New York Post reported that ten additional people, including five children, suffered injuries during the crash. [1]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, the incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. local time when a vehicle drove onto the field. Police took the 34 year old female driver into custody at the scene, where two juveniles were also inside the vehicle. [1][4]
