Máire Sogabe, Senior Vice President and Market Advisor for Enterprise Ireland, told the gathering that an opportunity exists to link local talent with global demand. According to Radio Kerry, she explained that winning internationally requires market insight and access alongside a great product, encouraging Kerry companies not to limit their ambitions. [1]
Fearghal Reidy, Chief Executive of Kerry County Council, stated that centres of excellence doing work in the sector are already present in Kerry, Radio Kerry reported. Computer security focuses on protecting software, systems, and networks from threats such as unauthorized information disclosure, theft, or damage. [1][3]
The gathering follows earlier economic discussions in the region. As FTMQ News reported earlier, a previous Cantillon Quarter event in Tralee focused on how the offshore energy sector could support long-term economic growth and job creation across Kerry. [4]
