The ex-wife of a cosmetics executive has filed a lawsuit against her own legal and forensic teams, demanding more than 5.5 million dollars. The New York Post reported that 56-year-old Adi Cohen claims her former advisers failed to discover 15 million dollars hidden by her former husband during their 150 million dollar divorce case. [1]

According to court records cited by the New York Post, 63-year-old Manhattan resident Yosi Cohen originally filed for divorce in Manhattan Supreme Court in 2019. He is the director and co-founder of Natasha Denona, a makeup brand popular among celebrities. [1]

Cosmetics have been used since ancient civilizations, with archaeological evidence showing eye enhancement and skin adornments applied as early as 4000 BCE in Egypt and Mesopotamia. Formulations evolved from basic pastes to modern chemical emulsions over thousands of years. [2]
