Apple Inc. reported stronger-than-expected revenue of $114.5 billion for the fourth quarter of its fiscal year ending 26 September 2026. Euronews reported that revenue increased 12 percent from $102.5 billion in the same period a year earlier, driven by record iPhone sales for the September quarter. [1]

Net income for the July to September period reached $30.71 billion, or $2.10 per share, up 12 percent from $27.47 billion, or $1.85 per share, in the previous year. Apple chief executive John Ternus took over the position in September, replacing Tim Cook, as FTMQ News reported earlier. [1][3]

Despite beating expectations, shares fell around 3 percent in after-hours trading on Monday. Euronews reported that investors were concerned by rising memory chip costs and a forecast for slower growth in Apple services. [1]
