The owner of a recruitment firm from Worcester has been accused of operating a doxxing campaign that targeted the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, anti-racism activists, and business executives. According to the Guardian, Tom Watson is alleged to be the person behind an X account named Big Time Charlie. [1]
The Guardian reported that the Big Time Charlie account created a database dubbed Traitorbase. The account targeted business executives who recruit Black, Asian, and minority ethnic workers before the profile was deactivated. [1]
The deactivation of the X account occurred shortly after Mr Watson was publicly named by the advocacy group Hope Not Hate. The account had accumulated nearly 50,000 followers prior to its removal, the Guardian reported. [1]
Recruitment involves workforce planning, position advertising, candidate screening, and hiring through channels such as referrals and agency partnerships. [2]
