South Australia Police were called to Glenelg beach near Moseley Square shortly before 4pm on Sunday following reports of a large fight. The Daily Mail reported that the brawl involved more than 200 youths in the popular seaside precinct, which was busy with weekend visitors and families. [1]

Police had already deployed extra officers to the area to target anti-social behaviour. According to the Daily Mail, the scale of the disturbance forced authorities to send additional officers, including mounted police units, to control the crowd. [1]

Officers arrested two teenagers at the scene. The Daily Mail reported that both youths were subsequently charged with disorderly behaviour. [1]

Adelaide is the capital and most populous city of South Australia. As FTMQ News reported earlier, the city recently hosted federal travel that drew scrutiny over ministerial expense claims. [2][3]
