Police have arrested a 13-year-old after a group of teenagers allegedly stole $1,000 worth of alcohol from a Sydney liquor store.

A 13-year-old teenager has been arrested after a group allegedly stole $1,000 worth of alcohol from a bottle shop in Sydney, the Daily Mail reported. The incident occurred shortly after 6pm on Saturday at The Bottle-O Narellan Vale in the south-west of the city. [1]

Security footage from the store showed five teenagers entering the premises while trying to hide their faces with shirts and hoodies, according to the Daily Mail. While several members of the group watched the door, others grabbed alcohol, leaving behind smashed glass bottles and other items. [1]

The 13-year-old was charged following the incident, while four other teenagers remain on the run, the Daily Mail reported. The shop owner stated that she fears her store will be targeted again. [1]
