Two men have been denied bail after being charged in connection with a police pursuit involving a stolen car on the M50 in Dublin, the Irish Examiner reported. The incident occurred on Sunday evening when a stolen vehicle was driven on the wrong side of the motorway. [1]
According to the Irish Examiner, 22-year-old Daniel Brown of Hampton Wood, Dublin 11, was charged with four counts of dangerous driving, being in a stolen Volkswagen Golf Estate, and possession of cannabis. The court heard that he drove northbound for over one kilometre on the southbound lane of the M50 before his arrest. [1]
The second defendant, 25-year-old Adam White, also from Hampton Wood, was charged with being in the stolen car and possessing cannabis for sale or supply, the Irish Examiner reported. Both men are also accused of possessing a stolen item and represented themselves in court due to an ongoing legal aid dispute. [1]
