Two former FBI officials charged with lying to Congress

Two former FBI officials have been charged with lying to Congress about their involvement in investigations into Hunter Biden, the New York Post, Reuters, CBS News, AP News, and The Independent reported on Friday. According to the New York Post, former senior bureau officials Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides self-surrendered to face the charges. The New York Post reported that the charges stem from an investigation into the work of the two former officials on the FBI's Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 presidential election.
