Tiger Woods Spearheads 2.5 Billion Dollar Golf Community in Texas

Realtor.com and Yahoo both reported that professional golfer Tiger Woods is spearheading a new gated residential golf community outside of Fort Worth, Texas, featuring luxury homes starting at 1 million dollars. Realtor.com reported that the 914-acre development is called Bluejack Ranch and is scheduled to open this fall. The project represents a 2.5 billion dollar investment in central Texas. [1][2]

According to Realtor.com, Tiger Woods collaborated with developer Andy Mitchell to build the private golf community. The development plans to eventually construct 500 custom and semi-custom homes across the property. The residential offerings will range in size from 1,282-square-foot, two-bedroom casitas to large estate homes. The estate homes will sit on one-half-acre to one-acre sites and will measure at least 4,000 square feet. [1]

Realtor.com reported that Bluejack Ranch is the second private golf community created by Tiger Woods and Andy Mitchell in Texas. It serves as a followup to Bluejack National, a highly rated resort-style community and private club located three hours away in Montgomery, Texas.
