Thieves broke into a residence in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon and stole a handbag collection valued at 300,000 dollars, the Daily Mail reported. The incident took place in the neighborhood of Eagle Rock while the homeowner was attending a medical appointment. [1]

The homeowner, identified by the Daily Mail as 60-year-old Patricia Vuagniaux, stated that the stolen items consisted of her long-time collection of Hermès handbags. She had previously showcased the luxury items on social media platforms. [1]

According to the Daily Mail report, the perpetrators managed to bypass security measures including a Ring camera and reinforced windows. They then broke open a lock on the closet where the collection was stored. [1]

As FTMQ News reported earlier, high-value luxury burglaries have targeted specific items across international regions. Recently, masked thieves in Italy stole 30,000 bottles of Tuscan red wine valued at five million euros after disabling security systems. [3]
