A 60-year-old man was beaten to death outside a sex shop in New York City on Sunday night, the New York Post reported citing police statements. The victim was knocked to the ground and repeatedly struck in the head outside Rainbow Station in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Emergency medical services rushed the unidentified man to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. [1][3]

Police stated that the deadly attack appeared to be a robbery because the victim's wallet was taken while he was outside, according to the New York Post. ABC 7 reported that the argument originally began inside the adult store before moving outdoors. [1]

Authorities arrested 25-year-old Imani McColley of Queens in connection with the fatal attack, the New York Post reported. McColley faces charges of murder and two counts of robbery, while police continue their investigation into the incident. [1]
