A teenage driver allegedly struck six high school students with an SUV on a sidewalk in Lindenwold, New Jersey, on Wednesday. The New York Post reported that the incident occurred around 2:11 p.m. on E Gibbsboro Road, located down the street from Lindenwold High School and directly in front of an apartment complex. [1]
Lindenwold Police stated that the driver was operating a silver Cadillac Escalade before the vehicle swerved off the road, jumped the curb, and drove onto the sidewalk. According to the New York Post, six minors between the ages of 14 and 16 were struck by the SUV. [1]
The crash left one of the teenage pedestrians trapped beneath the vehicle. Local authorities and police responded to the scene following the collision outside the apartment complex. [1]
