Simone Nathan has stated that her autobiographical comedy series Kid Sister will be her final role as an actor. UPI reported that the series, which Nathan created, is scheduled to premiere on ChaiFlicks on Sunday. [1]

The show originally aired in New Zealand in 2022. Nathan plays Lulu, a Jewish woman who becomes pregnant while dating a gentile character named Ollie, portrayed by New Zealand comedian and writer Paul Williams. [1][3]

In the series, Lulu considers her future with Ollie and looks at potentially letting her brother, played by Joseph Nathan, and her sister-in-law, played by Kira Josephson, adopt the baby. Speaking in a Zoom interview, Nathan told UPI that working on the series cured her of the acting bug. [1]

Nathan confirmed to UPI that she hopes she will never act again, making Kid Sister her last performance on screen. [1]
