An inquest has heard that Paul Flack, the brother of television presenter Caroline Flack, took his own life after he never recovered from the death of his sister. The BBC, the London Evening Standard, the Daily Record, and The Independent all reported on the inquest held at Norfolk Coroner's Court. Paul Flack, who was 55 years old, was found unresponsive at his home in Sandringham Road, Norwich, on 21 June and died later in hospital, according to the BBC. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

His partner, Joanna Millington, told the court that he had struggled with his father developing dementia and with the death of his younger sister in 2020, the BBC reported. She described him as everyone's favourite person, but noted that this role took its toll on him. Area Coroner Johanna Thompson recorded a narrative conclusion, stating that Paul Flack died while under the influence of alcohol and that his intent in doing so is unknown, according to the BBC. [1]

Caroline Flack was an English television presenter who grew up in Norfolk and presented television programmes including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW! and The Xtra Factor. She was the youngest of four children born to Ian and Christine Flack, and her siblings included Paul, an older sister named Elizabeth, and a fraternal twin sister named Jody. [7][8]
