Shaun Wright Phillips compares Strictly dance partner to Jose Mourinho

Former England winger Shaun Wright-Phillips said his Strictly Come Dancing partner Alexis Warr is scarier than his former Chelsea manager José Mourinho, the Daily Mail and The Sun reported. The 44-year-old former footballer made the comments while competing on the BBC One television show. [1][5]

According to the Daily Mail, Wright-Phillips stated that Warr is most probably scarier than Mourinho. However, he noted that the Portuguese coach is unpredictable, so you never know when it is coming. [1]

Wright-Phillips played under Mourinho at Chelsea in the mid-2000s, when the manager famously gave him a lengthy set of demanding rules, the Daily Mail reported. The newspaper added that Wright-Phillips is tipped to be the next contestant eliminated from the competition. [1]

Warr is an American professional dancer who won the seventeenth season of So You Think You Can Dance before joining the British series Strictly Come Dancing as a professional. Mourinho is a Portuguese manager who has won league championships in four countries. [8][9]
