Samuel L Jackson crime drama Frisco King premieres in December

The new crime drama series Frisco King, starring Samuel L. Jackson, will premiere on Paramount+ on December 18, 2026. UPI, The Futon Critic, Yahoo, IMDb, and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram all reported the premiere date for the show. Entertainment Weekly and The Futon Critic both noted that a teaser trailer for the series was released. [1][2][3][4][5][6]

UPI reported that the series was written and produced by Taylor Sheridan. The show co-stars Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann. UPI and Yahoo both reported that Sylvester Stallone will make an appearance in the series. [1][4]

According to UPI, the story follows seasoned gangster Lee Washington as he arrives in Frisco, Texas. Yahoo and IMDb identified the show as a spinoff of the series Tulsa King. The show follows a mob hitman who relocates to the Dallas and Fort Worth suburb of Frisco to establish his own criminal enterprise, after filming took place in North Texas, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Samuel L. Jackson is one of the most widely recognized actors of his generation. His films have collectively grossed more than 27 billion dollars worldwide, making him the highest grossing actor of all time. He received an Academy Honorary Award in 2022.
