Nations League title holders Portugal will host Norway in a UEFA Nations League Group A4 match on Sunday, October 4, at the Estadio do Dragao in Porto, Al Jazeera reported. The fixture is scheduled to start at 8:45pm local time, which is 18:45 GMT. The meeting takes place days after talisman Cristiano Ronaldo left the Portuguese camp, according to Al Jazeera and Daily Sabah. [1][10]

Daily Sabah reported that Ronaldo walked out of the team, leaving his future with the national squad uncertain. Goal.com reported that Ronaldo endorsed strong criticism of his international teammates, while manager Jorge Jesus dodged questions about the disagreement. Consequently, Portugal will play the match without their leading forward, Al Jazeera reported. [1][8][10]

This fixture marks the second time in a week that Portugal and Norway meet in the competition, according to Al Jazeera. Striker Erling Haaland will feature for Norway, who are looking to avenge a recent defeat to Portugal, beinsports.com reported. Al Jazeera Sport will provide build-up and live coverage starting at 15:45 GMT. [1][9]
