OpenPayd Targets Nasdaq Listing to Fund United States Expansion

Payments firm OpenPayd is aiming for a year-end Nasdaq listing to fund its planned expansion into the United States and acquire new licenses and technology.

CoinDesk reported that payments firm OpenPayd is planning a stock market listing on Nasdaq by the end of the year. Chief executive officer Iana Dimitrova said the firm aims to launch operations in the United States by April 2027. The company intends to use the capital raised from the listing to finance its American expansion and pursue potential corporate acquisitions. [1]

Dimitrova stated that OpenPayd is looking for potential acquisition deals to acquire additional operating licenses and technology. According to CoinDesk, this push into new markets is designed to support the firm's growth plans. OpenPayd focuses on providing payment infrastructure and financial services to its corporate client base. [1]

These include SettleGo Solutions Limited in the United Kingdom, which is authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Electronic Money Institution.
