The New York Post reported that police identified the agent as 32-year-old David Gonzalez of Texas. Police found him detained with a gunshot wound to the stomach around 3:20 a.m. near East Dudley and North Broadway Street. [1]

According to the New York Post, a woman discovered Gonzalez asleep on her lawn after returning home. She notified her 72-year-old relative, and Gonzalez allegedly responded with hostility and attacked them when they attempted to wake him up. [1][2]
