Northern Ireland First Minister Michelle O'Neill is scheduled to appear on the upcoming episode of The Late Late Show hosted by Patrick Kielty. Independent.ie, the Irish Independent, RTE.ie, Belfast Live, FM104, and Extra.ie all report that O'Neill will join the guest lineup this week. Other featured guests scheduled to appear on the broadcast include comedian Deirdre O'Kane and television presenter Baz Ashmawy. [1][3][4][5][6][7]

Independent.ie reports that O'Neill will speak about the Garvaghy Road stand-off and discuss the prospects of a united Ireland. Belfast Live and Extra.ie note that her upcoming television appearance comes amid the continuing Drumcree dispute. As FTMQ News reported earlier, a stand-off over the Drumcree parade in Portadown has involved rival rallies following a Parades Commission decision to permit an Orange Order march on Garvaghy Road. [1][5][7][11]

O'Neill has served as First Minister of Northern Ireland since February 2024 and as the Vice President of Sinn Féin since 2018. She previously served as deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland from 2020 to 2022 and has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly for Mid Ulster since 2007. O'Kane is an Irish stand-up comedian and actress. [9][10]

Separately, the Daily Mail reported that Kielty's former partner, This Morning presenter Cat Deeley, recently spoke about co-parenting their two children following their separation in July 2025. [2]
